Is Facial Hair Okay During Fit Testing?
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 prohibits fit testing of any employee with hair growth between the skin and the facepiece sealing surface; including stubble, beards, moustaches, or sideburns that cross the sealing surface. See the CDC infographic for which styles are acceptable with tight-fitting respirators.
